How close to the next tier can you get

Just to lighten things a bit. Wondered how close you've managed to get to a tier.
Until this morning I was 70 points off gold or 0.17% of the required amount.

Just got to hope todays flights credit before I go back on the 19th

If it was an AF/KL flight, it should probably credit by then.
I never took screenshots of how close I was, however my flight qualifying for Plat was a generic 25% AMS-LHR, so probably wasn't that far
The app now no longer shows a percentage, and KLM website shows my miles bar up to 100,000 even though I have not yet re-qualified...

Last year around late December, I was 5 flights short of Gold. I needed to go from STR to NCE for christmas, then AMS for new year's eve, then immediately back to work on Jan 2nd.

The "cheapest" for me was to take a STR->AMS round trip, and AMS->SXB->NCE round-trip. Taking into account the 4h delay and refund due to a technical issue on the plane at SXB, that was an affordable entry into Gold in the end.

Annoyingly flights credit to the summary, but doesn't credit to the toal and update status until the next day. So seems to be 48hrs on KLM.

In 2012 I was at 24,979 Medallion Qualifying Miles with Delta. I needed 25,000 to requalify.

I remember having 24k level miles back in 2014 (around when I started flying frequently). Then I made a trip TMP-HEL-CDG-PVG and back in W, which got me straight into gold. So my Silver status lasted only for a week
