KLM introduces 2 new booking classes intra-Eu

So just in case you are booked in P or F intra-EU, that is not in La Premiere

I can remember the days when you had two choices: F or Y.

Sure kept things simple and easy.

OTOH, more fare buckets means generally greater variance in pricing, often to your benefit when you're booking smart.

Just wait for a flood of good deal First and Business Class fare postings here on FT.com as people discover these new fare classes on booking sites that misrepresent them....

But of course.

Back in the Golden Days of aviation the IATA cartel set those F and Y fares, and they were eye-watering. It was a really big deal when the so-called APEX fares came along, sometime in the 60s I think. Even those weren't exactly cheap.
