* OT: Is there a recent thread anywhere about using TDCs? I hadn't realised that they still needed to be handed in at an airport ticket desk within 3 days, or sent by registered post. (As I am currently in a location with neither a KLM office, nor a reliable postal service, that's not much help... Nor is the fact they're only valid on trips which are solely on KL, AF or DL metal...)

Yes, I noticed that too. Before it used to state one extra piece free based on frequent flier status, now it states that you have to pay for the second piece.

Update!
I asked a question regarding these two questions on the portal for travel agents and got the following reply:
Short translation:
Beste Gajan,
Je hebt op 09-10-12 de volgende vraag gesteld op Jij & KLM:
Ik vroeg mij af wanneer informatie bekend wordt gemaakt ten aanzien van:
- Economy Comfort short-haul;
- ASR for intra-Europese vluchten per 1 December.
Het antwoord op deze vraag is:
Beste Gajan,
KLM

- Information regarding EC will be provided within a month;
- Implementation of ASR intra-Europe seems to be unknown at the moment.

The constant fail of recognizing status is also a huge annoyance.
In the baggage section, the system recognizes me as Silver (it doesn't at seat selection), but doesn't show the extra luggage allowance.
It won't be a problem at the airport, just an example of bad IT.

BTW I'm amazed how expensive a third bag is!!!

And I don't believe there are 5 rows of EBC that time of the year so assume they keep some rows as buffer.
How they'll handle that when there isn't enough demand on a full plane...

Just tried it using the app. Interesting experience!
CPH - AMS : not available.
AMS - CPH : not available. (same PNR)
CPH - AMS : not available. However, when I clicked on Change Seat, I got a seat map for the return flight AMS - CPH! I would probably not even have noticed, had not the one been a 737 and the other a F70. Confusing!
I could pick any seat, provided it was in row 11-17. Wow, gosh, thanks, that must be the new section for LTPEs, who (as everybody knows) much prefer to be seated aft of the wing.
