What happens if i lose my train ticket when travelling from zwe?

If flying from zwe, and arrive at check in and claim made the train journey, but not knowing i have to keep it i threw the ticket away, will i actually be denied boarding?
Will producing a belgian residence card help me?
I assume there must be a system they can check on, as the train station uses a special program to print the train ticket.

You will be asked to show the return portion of the train ticket, and if you can't show that, then you will be in big trouble.

If you're on a one-way ticket, you will be sternly told not to be so foolish as to lose the ticket the next time you travel, and will be grudgingly checked in.

A friend of mine traveled via Antwerp (train down, pick up ticket and travel back) twice in the past two years.

When checking in at AMS once he asked if he needed to show his train ticket to which the agent replied that they could see that he picked up his train ticket at Antwerp (something to do with de-blocking ticket is done in ZWE).

Not possible to show the return train ticket as it's only issued within 24 hours of the flight, meaning the return ticket has to be collected at AMS upon arrival.

My guess is that it wont be a problem. If you didnt pick up the ticket in Antwerp, your segment from AMS onwards would have been canceled already by the mighty KLM computer. So as your itinerary is still intact, I doubt the check-in people will even ask (or care) about your first segment.

The last 2 times flew (including once this week) I haven't been asked for it (although I wonder if it was because I was flying business, but I doubt it).
