KLM quits Punta Cana

After MIA, KLM has announced today it will quit their Punta Cana service as per March 28.
So it seems the former Martinair destinations don't do very well. Wonder what's next.

Beindiging vluchten Punta Cana (PUJ), Dominicaanse Republiek

Passengers can be rerouted through CDG or PTY. A full refund is allowed.

Miami resumes, and is bookable, effective 28OCT2012, though some do question if it will indeed resume, for now it's going seasonal.

As expected, not really a surprise.
Passengers have to connect via CDG for travelling to SDQ.
