Do you know the way to San Jose? (from San Jose)

It looks like they won't do connecting flights from SJC to SJO. Is there a way to do this short of buying two tickets?

I know the way to San Jose (Costa Rica) from San Jose (CA), it requires connections in JFK and MCO and an overnight in JFK on the way back due to the flight times. That said they are most likely not going to do it.

You could fly SJC-LGB, LGB-AUS-MCO, MCO-SJO

Flight 1416 from LGB is a thru flight to Orlando via Austin. With a quick ground time in Austin it's not a bad way to get to Orlando.

no i don't think you can do this w/o buying two tix. you're better off going with another airline if you want to go there..

if you really wanted to do this on b6 (the crazy routing) you could go SFO-AUS-MCO-SJO all in one day. on the return though you would have to overnight in MCO or JFK. after a little research session lowest fare I found would be 600 AI. this includes 3 separate tix. If you tried to route through JFK you could but that would cost more than 600.

that actually isnt that bad of a fare but it does require 2-3 separate tix. and numerous connections + an overnight.
