Yes, normal headphones will work without an adapter. And you should bring your own since the freebies are gone now.
Thanx! I missed that part of the question!

11A/B on the airbus are good seats. On longer flighs the doors tend to get a little cold but nothing really to complain about. You should have plenty of leg room and full recline ability.

I know on the E190s that Row 12 is the only Even More Legroom Row (38 inches)....What are the rows on the A320s with 38 inch pitch and are all the A320s the same?

By the way, keep up the good work - B6 is

I'm not a FA, but as a regular on the A320 I can answer your Q. EML seats (38") on the A320 are rows 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10, 11(exit rows). Every seat is 17.8" wide and all leather. For the most part, all A320s are the same. Minor differences include 2 or 3 with the newer, much nicer cabin features and very few without XM, but that's changing.

Excellent! I've been shuttling back and forth between IAD and BOS and haven't had a chance to answer. As stated the EML seats have 38" of room and I believe that the exit rows, on the airbus have 39" just because of the layout and psition of the exit doors. The rest of the aircraft has 34" of room and the goes for the E-190 as well.

Delay due to Short runway

What does a delay due to a short runway mean? My flight from PBI to EWR was delayed for that reason? Does it mean that one of the runways was closed?

The E-190 only has 32" of pitch with exception of the exit row.

I believe it does. I remember looking at the FAA website, while we were stuck in DC, and I think it said that EWR was undergoing some taxi/runway construction so they may have closed that runway and restricted the arrivals because of it.

Another question from the family flyer here.... Does JetBlue serve milk on board? Just regular old milk, either whole or 2%. Since the 1 year old is solely on milk I'm trying to figure out what to bring and how much etc etc etc.

Also, anyone familiar with LGB know what is available (food and drink wise) to buy past security? I know it's a smaller airport and I don't know what is available, and it's throwing me for a loop with a cross country flight. Thanks.

We have milk on board and I think it is 2%. Now having said that, i'm going to warn you about the milk we have onboard. It has been pasturized quite a bit more than usual in order for it to keep longer in a non-chilled environment. I've had some people love the milk and I have had others hate it. I would suggest either buying it before hand, you can bring children's milk through the checkpoint or buy some at the airport.

LGB doesn't have much beyond security. There is a place to buy sandwiches and drinks but beyond that nothing. I do highly suggest the "Prop Room" above the terminal if you want to get a great meal! There is also some food places pre-security, i believe you can bring food through the checkpoints...correct?

I usually fly a short leg LGB-MRY, so I have no need to eat at the airport. I don't remember seeing any restaurants in the airport, but I thought there were a couple of food booths outside the security line. Going through security is a snap if you need to go out for a quick bite. It only takes a few minutes, nothing like LAX, my other airport.

I do recall receiving something about Sky Meals. They deliver food to you. It's a little pricey, but it probably beats something at an airport fast food stand.

Otherwise, you can always step out and eat outside on the tables near the food stands, then get back in the security line. It's not like there's going to be a long line. The most people I ever had in front of me were five.

There is a great little restaurant above the ticketing area. It's called the Prop Room and they have excellent food! You will see quite a bit of Blue crews eating there. It isn't even that expensive for the amount of food you get! Other than that there are some small food vendors scattered inside and outside the checkpoints.

Did they by any chance shoot a JetBlue commercial there years ago?
