Yeah...I've now seen official as well.
American no longer needs JetBlue for feed. JetBlue no longer needs American for feed. And the partnership was a tenuous one formed under stress on both sides at the time it was forged. No surprise that it is terminating now.

It's on the True Blue Website as well.
"AAdvantage partnership to end
Our partnership with American Airlines AAdvantage will end March 31, 2014. You can continue to earn TrueBlue points on qualifying American international flights until then*. Any AAdvantage miles you've already earned are not affected.
After March 31, when you fly with JetBlue, you'll be able to earn your choice of TrueBlue points, Emirates Skywards Miles, or HawaiianMiles."
I need to book a flight to London this summer. All things being equal, I would have gone with AA for the True Blue points. Now it's anyone's game

Agree. It's been a wonderful run while it lasted. Thank you JetBlue and American. AA miles for B6 BOS-SFO transcons and eastern seaboard runs in the best coach in the air. A year of graced EXP on AA to spend them (AA's gift to UA 1Ks). It is nice that the miles already earned are secure with AA, so no rush to do anything. Alas, nothing lasts forever, especially when it's something good with the airlines.

I suggest that it's rather that AA has no more use for JetBlue after acquiring (or being acquired by) US. And so, sadly, I have no more use for JetBlue.
It is a shame that, on seeing the value, JetBlue didn't fight successfully to keep some loyalty program relationship with AA -- or with any other significant program.
One can only hope that there might be some other partner in the wings for JetBlue.

JetBlue wasn't first.
Continue to grow partnerships with foreign carriers and to grow their own route map in the Americas.
