NextGen nav systems coming to JetBlue aircraft
JetBlue has inked a deal with the FAA to trial NextGen nav systems in up to 35 A320s starting next year. The feds will be paying the $4.2MM for the hardware and B6 will pick up the tab for training and such. The system will hopefully permit increased efficiency of operations and, in some cases, shorter flight routings as well.
