Dai Ichi Tokyo Seafort Hotel - Any one stayed there?

My company wants to put me up at this hotel.

15,500 JPY/night.

Have not been able to find any reviews on this hotel.

If you have stayed there, I would love to find out what you thought of it.

If you know of a much better hotel nearby, I am all ears.

Many thx.....DBC

No personal experience, but tripadvisor.com is a good place to look for hotel reviews, and there's one there for this hotel: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...kyo_Kanto.html

It is in Tennozu Isle, which means you have to either cab it or take the Monorail to get anywhere. But maybe your company is near there, in that case it would make sense. The hotel itself is nothing to write home about, a perfectly respectable mid-range Japanese hotel, which means very good service, quality accommodations, and a complete sense of predictability.
