This is an outrage!

I demand NHK return Naoko Hashimoto to the 18:10 Shutoken Network newscast or I quit paying my license fees!!!!

You can still catch her on News 7 at Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. News 7 is national broadcast, not just greater Tokyo metro area like Shutoken Network News, more exposure for her! And you like her because...

More to the point, since the fees cannot be legally claimed, why pay? The programming here is such garbage anyway.

Yes Japan has WAAAY too much variety TV on very tired formulas.

I think NHK is actually really good programming-wise. It's the commercial networks that are >90% crap.

NHK is so good I refuse to pay their licensing fees. A bit like a 5 foot kid at grammar school being seen as tall. Still a kid. Still awful TV. Unless reporting news counts
