Okay, you may be right. It's possible that 5-6 minutes is an underestimate by a minute or two. And yes it'd certainly take longer for someone who's physically impaired.

And once the kidney stone pain kicked in, the already long 750metre stroll became an endless and pitiless endurance trek.
Luckily for me, I had a minion to call on to make all those trips to the stores to buy the litres and litres and litres of liquids I needed at the time. OP will not be so fortunate.
On the other hand, if ToGo gets caught out with the kind of stomach emergency that would require immediate repatriation to the mother land, the 750 metre shopping mall route does offer an array of public toilets for relief and comfort, a fair compensation for the absence of taxi hailing spots.

That is a cruel double whammy to have on a trip.

I that what the other poster was saying is that travel insurance typically only covers a healthy individual, not one who is already sick, unless you seek out specialized insurance (which costs a lot more)
For example, I just purchased some travel insurance, and the policy states that any pre-existing condition must be stable for at least 3 months prior to travel (meaning needing no hospital treatment etc. in the past 3 months) otherwise the insurance will not pay for treatment abroad.

So today it was the first time after i arrive the hotel i leave it to buy food.
The Price is not that insane who everyone told me.
1,5L Coke 199Y ~1,50€
A small rice triangle whatever... 142Y ~1,10€
and some Cent Tax.
When i eat dinner in Vienna i pay for fast food 7€ - 10€

Eating out and finding convenient food isn't particularly expensive in Japan (I've always found it to be considerably cheaper than London, even when the yen was sky high against the pound and the Euro)
The trick isn't eating and feeling full on a budget, it's eating well.
It can be done, and there's help for the asking available on this forum. For the sake of the price of a few apples and pears there's no point suffering, locked away for hours or days, in a hotel toilet.
