If you've seen the NHK video more times than you can count, here are some different images from another unidentified network (in Japanese).

It beeps every time there's an aftershock and most of the times shows the magnitude of that particular tremor.
It's been relentless. I can't imagine how those who will have been traumatised by the initial earthquakes are keeping it together and coping psychologically with these constant reminders.
I'm finding it very hard to work out what has happened to Shiogama.
One of the few reports I've seen is this one:
http://jetwit.com/wordpress/2011/03/...quake-updates/
"Shiogama – According to a CIR JET alum who was in Shiogama: Asahi.com is saying that the coastguard units based in Shiogama might have been swept away, and listing dead and missing as over 1K as of right now. It’ll be light in Japan fairly soon, so we may get a better idea of how bad it all is from now on."
If anyone has any other leads I'd be very grateful.

The aftershock story
Link showing the onslaught of aftershock tremors since the initial big ones:

I can't help but suspect that a major player in his grim supporting cast is yet to make their own devastating appearance
- I'm still planning on arriving in Tokyo at the end of the month though.

LapLap, I am concerned about your situation.
Google News search results for "塩釜"(Shiogama) (sources updated within a day)

I'll update this post if I find something more.

Some videos available from the NHK World site (what "live" streaming is showing most of the time anyway...
SDF sprays water into No.3 reactor
(The footage shows the spraying of water from the ground. It's supposed to be part of a 7 minute video shot by a member of a special unit of the Ground Self-Defense Force and also shows the situation around the No.3 reactor. But I haven't been able to find the full version of the 7 minute video.)
WHO: No radiation risk outside evacuation zone
Cooling function operable at 2 reactors
Low temperature, high tides to hit affected area
TEPCO workers exposed to radiation beyond limit
