Curry House CoCo Ichibanya Multilingual Menu Now Online

Curry House CoCo Ichibanya is recommended by many regulars in Japan forum.

They seem to have uploaded Multilingual Menu on their website.

My favorite is "okura and tofu" topping, but no picture of it. If you look at p10, you'll notice they are in much more "have it your way" fashion than Burger King.

Haha, somehow I remembered "USA, USA" call at the Ground Zero.
You guys really love Coco Ichi.
You might want to contact a woman who tweeted:

@meimaimaggiov Wow! A 15-page multilingual menu for CoCo Ichibanya: http://bit.ly/9ePLm8 All the curry rice variations you could want. Makes me miss Japan.

When I lived in Japan in 1991-1992, they used to have a challenge that if you can eat 1300 grams of rice with curry in 20 minutes, it was free and you got your picture on the wall.

When I went back a few years ago and again last year and this year, I didn't see any of them still doing that. I know it's a long time ago but I remember it wasn't at all of the shops.

Do any of them still have that challenge?

I am sitting at the counter in the CoCoICHI in Togoshi-Ginza while writing this post. Just finished the chicken katsu curry (700 yen) with the regular 300g of rice and regular spiciness, and a Coke (150 yen). Drank lots of water, so the self-serve water pitcher was nice.

You forgot the word "delicious".

IMHO, CoCo really gets good at @ spiciness Level 8.

And stays good all the next day.

The Japanese Coco Bear is a distant relative of the Chinese Mabo Bear.

That is because Mabo Bear is real and not factory made!

New hamburger steak restaurant

Sounds like a great place. It'll go on my list for when I'm in Tokyo in September.

While doing a little searching on line to find co co locations I came across this on their website: "March 2010: Opened "Nikkui Tei" Konan Akadoji restaurant, a new type of restaurant specializing in Hamburger steak."

The photos on the Japanese-only associated site look good enough to eat. Has anyone been to this new chain and know where they are located?
