The SS6 one is SGN-HND not NRT. I have no idea when NEO/SS/SSII seats will be deployed on NRT-SGN. JAL usually announces new SS6/SS7 location one at a time. The next one is June 13 on NRT-CGK. So presumably we will find out more about the next destination after CGK around/after June 13.
I know the SGN-HND flight gets in around 22:00... think it's worth transferring to NRT, staying for a short overnight and flying out for a 11 am flight? Never had to switch airports in Tokyo... not sure if the product is worth it!

Just flew in the new seat on NRT-SIN (JL711).
Booked into 2K, which is towards the window, vs. being in the aisle.
Will get some better photos posted in the next few days, once I get to AKL. Missed the actual cabin service (slept the whole way from NRT-SIN), but I did get some pics of the seat before falling asleep.

JAL SKY SUITE 767 operates daily from May 4, 2014 between Tokyo (Haneda) and Beijing and from May 7, 2014 between Tokyo (Narita) and Hanoi! Originally these routes were scheduled to receive SS6 service from May 23.

Having taken SS6 twice now, I can firmly say that I dislike it. The mattress is hard and the given pillow doesn't fit into the head space when in full recline.
The ones closest to the window feel the 'tightest'. If you want a window seat, at least choose the ones that are slightly apart from the window.
Also why the crappy headphones unlike the noise canceling ones of SS7?

Actually having just flown in these seats I don't any more. Just to note that while the pitch is fine the seats themselves are pretty hard and lack sufficient padding. AA's seats are much more comfortable in this regard. And while the water bottle holder is a nice addition, it actually robs any of the extra space from one's left leg!

I just booked JL33 HND-BKK for traveling in mid March. The booking engine says that my flight will have the old Skyluxe seats instead of the SS6. However, the returning JL32 still shows up as SS6. What's going on here? And actually around my date, there seems to be no SS6 going in to BKK at all while there's one going back to HND everyday. I really hope I'll get the SS6!

JAL SS6 roll out schedule and seat map
Took SS6 biz a few days ago on HNDBKK. For me, taller than 180 cm with wide shoulder, width at full flat position was tight indeed. Still, way better than JAL's antique B767 cradle seat with 2-2-2 configuration, which I've avoided over several years.

Flew the SS6 this month too. Did 3K and 2A. The seats that are nearer the aisle are very open and the width is indeed a problem as you cannot lean out into the aisle without risking getting hit. 2A allows for leaning towards the wall side. Would give up window in rows 1,3,5 and rather take D on 2,4,6 and vice versa.

JAL SS6 roll out schedule and seat map
JAL's staggered 1-2-1 full flat biz config on B767 resembles with Delta's, which has a bit wider shoulder width when fully flat, if I'm not mistaken.
