Introducing oneworld YOKOSO/Visit TOHOKU Fare

This is similar to the existing oneworld Yokoso/Visit Japan Fare but is targeted for the Tohoku region which was seriously affected by the earthquake couple of years ago. The price is HALF of Yokoso Japan! So only JPY 5250 (tax included) per sector!

Yes, ticketing class doesn't matter as long as the rest of the requirements are met.

If Class J is available at check-in, you can pay JPY 1000 to upgrade to Class J

Yes. But this is more like a premium economy seat and service.

Woowwoo! This would be pretty good offer. ^ Thank you JALPak! Definitely have to put this under hard consideration, if I'm going to get to Japan before March.

For those in need of visa to travel to Japan, it can be good to know that visa fees are voided if trip is mainly within Tohoku.

A bit tricky to use this fare to really get to know Tohoku, as there are no connections between the 6 airports. Meaning you need to "waste" 1 extra segment to connect between Tohoku airports.

Suggesting FUK-SDJ-SPK-HNA-FUK as a decent sidetrip of 1940 mi for the runner.
(Will actually be in FUK in october, a bit tempted to try it.)

and SDJ-FUK-HNA-ITM-MSJ-ITM at 2874 mi seems to be the most you can squeeze out of it?
