Where was this JAL 744 going?

On the morning of 3rd Jan I was on board KE035 ICN-ATL. Over Nashville we started our descent and I noticed parallel to us, and flying in a south easterly direction, there was a JAL 744. I wondered where this flight was going. Not being familiar with JAL schedules I looked at the timetable to see if they had flights to Atlanta or Miami, but they don't

Also, it definitely wasn't a cargo aircraft. I took a picture of it and got quite a clear photograph.

The time was 0900 Eastern.

Any help would be appreciated.

The NRT-FLL flight mentioned in another thread on the this page was flown by JA8072, a pax 744. Any chance you can see the registration in the photo?

Not over Nashville. I did initially think of that though.

That's it!! Definitely the NRT-FLL flight.

Here's a picture of it in-flight over Nashville, as viewed from KE035 ICN-ATL. We had just started our descent.
