FCO - Flying in from IAD, heading to ATH

I am flying from IAD to FCO (United Airlines) arriving 8:50AM on 7/9; departing to ATH on an 11:10 AM flight (Aegean Airlines). From what I've read, United arrives in Terminal C and Aegean departs in Terminal B. We are most likely going to have to check luggage. Is this going to be enough time?? Does anyone know if we will have to go through customs to get from Terminal C to B?

I'm starting to get nervous...
