We made an online reservation on www.tuscanyoutlets.com last monday to shop at Gucci, Prada and D&G outlets (8 hours) on friday 14. We where picked up at our hotel in a gorgeous car and a very polite and friendly driver who did everything to make it a very nice trip for us. We will definitely order a new trip the next time we are in Tuscany.
My sister and I just returned from our trip to Italy and spent some time in Florence. We took a day tour to Gucci and Prada outlets through www.TuscanyOutlets.com and are glad we did. Our driver for the day was great. We have been shopping for more than 7 hours...
I have been there before, the best way of getting there is going on one of the coachs. You get on them from florence and book them in one of the shops their, a tourist shop thing. The coach also takes you to The Mall its got Gucci and more desingers. The shop its self does have alot of things there, you should go there, im pretty sure everyone could fine something. even if you dont there is Gucci at the next stop!
If I am staying in Rome (near Via Condetti), can I make the trip + shopping in one full day (assuming I start super early in the morning).
How would I get there from Rome?
Thanks.

Unless you may want to book a tour, it's quite easy to get the Prada outlet by car, and not that easy with public transport-or even better, it's easy by but it takes a longer time.
If you will stay in Via Condotti, you can rent a car at any branch located at the parking of 'Villa Borghese'. The parking is located in the Piazza di Spagna station area of the underground A, thus very close to Via Condotti.
I recommend to get a navigator, so you can easily get out of Rome. Then, the itinerary is basically on pay toll motorway. Very easy. Motorway fare for this journey is about 11 euros.
About time, I think it would take about 2h 30', depending on week day, time, etc.

Hi Alice,
Thanks for the advice.
I'm not very confident to drive such a long distance from Rome to Florence especially since this is my first visit.
You mentioned that maybe I can book a tour..do you have more details on the tour available?
Thanks.
