FCO Long Layover - Easy Lounge Access Question

My friend is in FCO with a very long layover, about 14 more hours to go. They cannot get out of the airport due to Visa issues. (Indian passport for what it's worth, en route to the US with the proper Visa)

I've checked around and am struggling to find any lounges. Seems like Priority Pass offers some, but you have to get the annual membership and pay a visit fee. She is likely only going to use this once so before dropping the extra $89 for a membership and $27 for a visit, is there any other option? Flew in on Air India and taking a United flight on the way out.

Any other tips on passing this many hours is appreciated!

I'm afraid, the only solution is a good book and a Sudoku magazine for in-between.

PS Oh yes. and lots of window shopping...
