Best time to book Italian ferries?
Looking to book a ferry from Sardinia (most likely Olbia) to Civitavecchia in the off-season (early November).
Fares seem pretty high now (2 persons with car and cabin is running just over EUR 200 with the current promo saving EUR 40 but giving up refundability.). Just wondering if ferry lines (Tirrenian in this case) have sales?
Also, has anyone bought the Late Checkout option (more leisurely disembarkation) and found it worth while, or do they still wake you up early to kick you off early?
