Is temporarily having no water supply considered a big deal?

I stayed at the HI Fort Myers last week and for at least a few hours in the late evening the water supply (maybe just for one wing?) was shut down whilst they worked a repair. "We're working on it, not sure how long it will take." I ended up using ice from the machine in the corridor when brushing my teeth, but couldn't shower or flush the WC. All was back on again in the morning.

Normally I just roll with the occasional hassles of being on the road, but I wondered if there was any consensus on this one being a big deal?

HI has their 'Satisfaction Guarantee', I think it is available worldwide.

If there is any part of your stay that doesn't work they will fix it or refund that part.

It would be completely fair for you to ask for some sort of monetary compensation for something like this.

However, I don't think it is a major deal.
