The link posted at http://boardingarea.com/blogs/mileop...otel-discount/ seems to work for me.

When I went to the website and clicked on the hotel I wanted it mentioned that a voucher had to be presented at check-in. Is this true--do I need a voucher and if so how would I get one? Thanks for your help.

It's all in the link so just read it.

As I recall there are 3 steps so try to avoid just diving into the booking stage

You won't always be asked for the voucher when checking-in, but it's best to have one with you just in case as some properties do require it.

So in addition to friends and family rate their is also an employee rate. An IHG employee can get a voucher from their hotel , signed by a manager, that can be given to a friend or family member and filled out in their name. You can see these rates by going to ihg.com/employees however in many instances the hotel will not offer the rate based on capacity.

The thing is this is not something that can be shared via internet as you actually have to know an employee to get the voucher.

Has anyone had experience with this?

Reading terms it says its for employees only so I guess its a little risky even if you have voucher card.

So it provide a special rate for friends and family of "Steve", and also a Print Voucher bottom. So can I use this rate if I do not know "Steve" and how does the print voucher work?? Please explain to me.

I've had instances where they're taken the credit card payment at check in so I wouldn't worry about it

RA Upgrade for Singapore?

Can anyone confirm that RAs are still getting upgraded on the F&F rate at the IC Singapore? I haven't seen any recent reports.

I'd like to book a deluxe or king business room and get club.

Interested in taking up this offer. Do they actually ask for the voucher at checkin?

I've been on the website: http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/ihg/hot...0216-_-AM26648

The terms and conditions on the website do not mention that a voucher is needed when checking in however when you go to make your booking there is a message stating that the voucher is needed.

I had a look at the voucher and it has a section asking for IHG employee. What do you put? Do you actually bother filling this out or just hope that you are not asked for it at check in?
