It is official: 1 Million Points.....
In 2007. 1,012,102 to be exact. 107 nights in total for a 9285 p/night avg.
This would not have been possible without the Q4 Triple / Quad / 2K Visa bonanza. Half my points came in this time frame.
Using the point windfall I snagged 12 $250 Hotel Anywhere Cards. My first trip in '08 the first $3000 in Hotel Expenses will be a cash back bonus. Using the Best Buy cards I snagged the Big Screen I never could justify (but will never be home enough to enjoy).
Thank you ICH for making this a very special year. As I say to all of my colleagues: "Look, if you are going to do this type of travel you sure should chase the points!". It can be a lucrative hobby.
This accomplishment seriously gets a standing, slow clap from me. Well done. I wish I had found out about FlyerTalk before May. Maybe I could have finished with more than the 200,000 I got this year. Again, well done.

Well done. I hope we have more of your input into FT IC thread in the future as your posts have been good, esp the one where you say your going earn 700k this year. I hope you dont do the finicial forecasts for your company ;-)

Who could have forecasted the Triple Point Bonanza? And then they let you buy Any Hotel Cards at half price!
But, the qoute of the year (which I have repeated to my co-workers) come from the Radioman: "Everytime I order a Diet Coke I enjoy knowing I am making 66 points!".
