New intercontinental.com Website

Was surprised to find a new website layout at
www.intercontinental.com

It has been completly redone, including structure and hotel presentations. So far it looks a bit unstructured for my taste.

InterContinental Marseille-Hotel Dieu is known for its exceptional service, comfort, and style.

Well, we will see it when the hotel will open...in May 2013

It was always the case: technically, they need to shell out $200 for enrollment.

It depends on exactly what you're asking. Geographically, Israel is in Asia but socially, etc. it is associated with Europe.

You mean Israel is part of Eurovision song contest

Still, Israel is part of Middle East

No. It appears that the free referral certificates are gone.

I know you were kidding, but Israel seems to have quite a few of their own "Americas/Europes/Australias/Etc's Next Top Whatever" shows.

Israel is part of the Middle East "regionally", and part of Asia geographically, but due to the vast differences between Arabs and Israelis, I think you would be hard pressed to find a Jew or and Arab that would say Israel is "part of the Middle East"!

BTW I love how you used one IHG web site to show evidence that another one is inaccurate! That's classic! It's like saying "IHG have no idea what they're talking about, just ask them!"

Don't know, but the term "ability to purchase" has been around on various material for a long time.

They were never free. You either need to be an existing Ambassador or pay the $200 enrollment fee after getting a referral.

The referral certs were free for RA receiving them from IHG. The new wording suggests that IHG wants to collect the money that the RAs used to get for them on ebay. Will be interesting to see the actual price tag.

Yes, but IIRC the text on the Certs was: give the same privileges to... for only 200 USD.
