Nicest IC hotel in mainland Europe?
Hi,

Looking for somewhere to use my BOGO Ambassador certificate next spring.

Can anyone recommend an IC that fits this bill?

1. Good recognition of Ambassador privileges?
2. Really nice hotel with good lounge
3. Nice city for a weekend break?
4. I can fly there on BA from Heathrow!

thanks - looks nice - the new IC in Marseille also interesting and reward nights at 30k points as its new to make the weekend a long one!

Any other suggestions?

What about Berchtesgaden? I would propose Frankfurt, however, I would never use a voucher there. 92 Euro for a Panoramic Suite including full breakfast, two minibars, a Nespresso Machine and lounge access it to tempting...

Sadly, no lounge at Porto, and a good lounge was one of the OP's requirements. So I'd suggest Madrid, Istanbul or Budapest. All have great lounges and great cities attached!

Another vote here for Berchtesgaden, took my wife here for a long weekend last year, she loved it (and she's a lot fussier than I am).

I'm not sure I agree about the Vienna IC though, whilst Vienna is a wonderful city, the IC is mediocre at best.
