Master List of 10K and 25K Holiday Inn /Holiday Inn Express List 2011/2012
Hi all, after three months hard work, the master list of 10K/25K Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels list update have been done and finished. Please refer to the link below to gain access and see the full list of hotels in category 10K and 25K for 2011/2012.
However, I do need your help. If you happen to know the hotel listed no longer exist in the system, or have been quietly moved between categories (which happened to many hotels last year as you may see from the list), please do kindly leave a message so I can correct it.
This lits takes almost one month working hours during last three months, if you could kindly make a postive comment or click on the HI/HIX logos on the page, will be very much appreciated by me.
Also following your advice and suggestions. I have done some more changes to the existing pages. First i have seperated the 25K location into Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Therefore I was able to add in the 15K International HI locations list. However due to its size, I could not put on the US 15K HI/HIX list. But if the demand is strong I will put it out. At this moment the maintainence on such list would be an impossible job. Sorry guys. But at least you will be able to see the 15K non-US List!

This is great. Thank you.
I'm sure the priorityclub itself doesn't have this list fully

A full analyses will be followed in coming week as I can only finish the list by now. Your help is appreciated too! Thanks
I'm curious why you jumped from 10K to 25K while skipping 15K?
Why would someone only be interested in knowing 10K and 25K but not interested in knowing 15K?
To me, a 10K list is: Where can I stay for the fewest points?
A 15K list would be: Where can I stay for the next fewest points?
Without a 15K list in the middle, I'm not clear what is the purpose of a 25K list?
Also, perhaps this is because of your UK focus, but once you get above 10K, there are way more brands at 15k (and also 20k/25k) than just HI and HIX. A lot of Candlewoods in the USA are 15k, and can be the most tremendous value in an expensive city like New York.
(Again, I'm just curious. I'm not suggesting that you need to make yet another list!)
Also, one thing in the statistics I'm curious about: Supposedly 700ish properties left the IHG system at the start of 2011, yet it seems your statistics saying "few hotels left completely" doesn't seem to mesh with that. (We had posts about how 700ish are leaving, but no one ever came up with a list of them, outside of a handful of anecdotes. So did 700ish actually leave???)

The HI Bangkok Silom is at 15K points (did it move down?) but not on your 15K list.
Slightly OT, but the ANA Kyoto, Japan, at 20K was a great redemption, IMO, and I am not sure how many properties are at that level, but it's a decent price point I'd be interesting in pursuing further.

For what you're asking, it's very easy to consult the charts provided by Priority Club itself:
So, all Candlewoods are 15K, all Staybridges 20K, all CPs 25K, Indigo 25K. HI and HIX vary in redemption amount (10K, 15K, 25K). IC are either 30K or 40K.
And ANA properties have their own chart, linked to in the above page, here:
However, the point of this thread is since the HI and HIX properties have varying redemption amounts (10K, 15K, 25K), it's useful to break out and highlight the HI and HIX properties that are especially good redemption values! (And, thanks to the OP for doing so!)

Ok to answer your question:
1>, There are more than 1000 hotels (or close to) in 15K category in US. So It would take a lot of space to put the list. It is twice the size of the 25K locations. I actually do have the list in my computer. But It looked so huge and I had a second thought. So if the hotel you saw was not listed in neither 10K or 25K then 89% of the chance it would be a 15K location.
2>, About the hotel left the system is strickly applied to the 10K list. What I mean by few hotels left the system was, about two dozens of 10K hotel had left IHG and you could not found them in 15K nor 25K list any more. However I have to admit that i lost account of then. But beassured that first the number of them were around or less than 20. Second the exactly number would be out when the table of analyses was done.
