Thanks a lot. I guess I will be pretty safe then. Will have just above 60 nights in the last 12 months period, by the end of October 2011.
As long as you have the (whatever) number of required IC Hotels Stays/Nights, then you are fine. I have over 100 paid nights and 3 IC locations, but I only have 7 paid IC hotels nights and I got the downgrade letter. I end up didn't have any stay at IC Hotels over this summer (my RA exp end of this month) that I thought I might have to try to get them re-consider me as a RA.
After reading a few of these posts I called Ambassador Services a few days back and received the same approxiamate answer. 60+ nights with 30+ in ICs.
I've PM IHG Care about a week ago asking if there were any changes but have not received an answer back.
If true this would be a substantial change. I have 30+ nights yet to book and knowing which direction IHG is going with this program will matter to me.
IHG Care we need you to chime in here or Hyatt here I come..

My amb. year is from aug-aug. I re-qualified for RA in June with 34 nights in IC and 32 night in HI/CP. The strange thing is that on my new card it say my RA will last until Nov. 2012. (Maybe because I qualified to RA in Nov. 2010?) Does anybody know if they have changed my amb. year?

Still, does anyone else have any data points on this? It's coming up to the end of the month, so surely we've got some RAs renewing....?
That is right, IHG Care is not in chare if it comes to points and miles. You shouzld contact PriorityClubRewards. But IHG Care might forward the PM to PriorityClubRewards, as they are aware that it could happen that the worng person is addressed.

Wow, they are taking secrecy to a new level. Now the RA maniacs will have to save all their stay information offline and keep track by making scratch marks on their wall next to their bed. One for each night, at each brand.

Due to the annoying fact that I can no longer view my last 365 days worth of stays I called AMB services to ask them. Immediately gave me my full RA years totals which were 78 total and 29 IC. When I asked him if in his opinion I have done enough to re qualify he said no and I am 5 IC nights short. Seems to be consistent with the 30+ Ic nights requirement. He also categorically stated that reward nights are definitely counted.
Anyone got renewed to RA with less than 30 nights at IC hotel?
I so far have total 60+ nights and only 25 nights are IC hotel nights (at 4 different IC hotels). It seems now the minimum requirement is 30+ nights at IC hotel. If the rumour is true, I am still 5 nights short. Does anyone get renewed with less than 30 nights at IC hotel?
