So I just got an email saying "Your anniversary is almost here" with a date. Kind of slick marketing, anyone else get this prior to their cert coming?
Yes I did receive the e-mail informing me my certificate would be issued soon about two and a half weeks ago. Yesterday I received the, "certificate" via e-mail and it stated I had to call a special phone # to make a reservation to use it. There was no physical hard copy mailed to me.
What email address does the free night certificate notification arrive from? Is it a Chase email address or a PriorityClub email address? Mrs. MileKing's card anniversary is in two weeks and she has not seen any emails mentioning the anniversary or the free cert. Thanks.

I haven't received the certificate yet, but the email to let me know that it would be coming soon was sent from PriorityClubRewards (at) sm.ihg.com

Same boat here. First anniversary for me so not sure how this is supposed to work. Wondering if i need to send a reminder email of my own since others seem to be getting their free night before their anniversary.

The card was first introduced July 2010 therefore everyone's anniversary is a first anniversary.
I am closely watching the latest data points as ours are first half of October. In fact I got a statement last month despite no activity - only to find the small print on Member Notice - informing me annual fee will be billed on Oct 9th.
Husband's card does not receive such form of reminder, despite our cards were applied in same week if not same day.
The cert comes from PC. So if you dont receive it, you may want to PM Carolyn, our resident PC rep.

Did you both get the "it's coming" email I referred to above? Maybe it hit your spam folders like the Biggest loser did...
