Of course they do. And I've posted before how, with the exception of PB nights, it might even be profitable (redemption rates via loophole--$60-$240; non-high occupancy reimbursements $20-$100) for PCR (remember: hotels purchase PCR points for .5¢/pt, so .6¢/pt is a premium rate). However, boasting of greatness will hasten the closure of a loophole (a closure which I have long been a proponent of). For example, if I were a hotel owner, I would not be happy about this loophole and I would lobby PCR to shut it down.
In that case, the posting of a boasting article led to a massive increase in promo bookings which led to the end of the code. In this case, if this leads to a massive increase in loophole "award night" bookings, that could lead to reduced availability for ALL. Hopefully, that WOULD lead to a closure of the loophole, because even FTers who enjoy the loophole would likely become frustrated at the lack of availability if this "technique" became widespread.

+1. I guess it is the humanitarian side to enable 'points & miles' starved guys who are not as well read (on FT) to live the travel high life in luxury like the OP
Anyways, if it gets out of hand it will be closed down so we will see I guess

This does seem to be a post advertising a blog. Actually quite an interesting one... Even so, I would suggest Mr Millionmiles makes his blog url part of his signature on FT and posts to these boards, I do click on signature blogs from interesting and informed commentators.
As for the subject, well a few newbies will have grasped this now, for the rest of us its further exposure of a known dodge in the PC scheme, but one among many. PC doesn't act to close it because its not abused in terms of membership numbers as most pay and stay, rather than pay and cancel to accumulate points. Lets not forget, points are easy to get FOC on PC so buying them at 0.6cents 'aint great, but it is the cheapest way to buy any points needed to supplement totals.
I think if PC were looking to close down loopholes in the scheme, this one, which at least gives PC cash for points, would be pretty low down the list.

Let's just not discuss it on this topic anymore and let the thread scroll down and die (in case it doesn't get merged). Worst rationale thinking by a K-MBA...
This thread covers the point and cash in general. From my point of view, this thread should be part of this thread. On the other hand, you are right in so far, as this information is already there.
We have a search function, which should be used. It is not also not very good, if inforamtion are covered in different threads.
Instead of merging this thread into the existing one, I close this thread for now.
