I'm in two minds what to do. I enjoyed the benefits when I stayed in the IC Park Lane at the end of last year and have an upcoming trip to Oz/Singapore where the IC Sydney and Singapore are contenders. I'm not sure if I'll be better off in the Priority Privilege programme though.

Everyone that has a Royal Ambassador share certificate with the $150 amount on it should be granted that price instead of the new $200 fee. This was a one time exception that was granted towards the person that redeemed my certificate. Make sure you ask.^

I went online and used the points option to buy Ambassador, I got the confirmation email stating that it might take 72 hours for the process to be complete. That was 3 weeks ago. I am still waiting for the transaction to complete. My first stay at an IC is not until October, so I am still trying to decide if I want it.

Somehow you missed the second email where they asked you to confirm your decision to get Ambassador status. They want to make sure you know all its limitations.

I think it's worth it. I renewed with points the last time. 20K-2K Visa Select redemption rebate-5K certificate=13K points for BOGO and Ambassador benefits.

I'm not sure that it has been posted already or not.
When I tried to renew my Ambassador membership, besides USD100 and 20K PC points options, 2 new choices there:
- Renew for $150 and receive 15,000 bonus points
- Renew for $200 and receive 15,000 bonus points plus a 10% points rebate on Reward Nights
* Maximum number of points to be rebated not to exceed 100K points in a calendar year
USD50 for 10K points are better than C+P (USD60) and seems count for status.

I wonder if you have a PC Visa card, is that 10% points rebate above on top of the 10% you get for having the card?
