No - only qualifying nights count.

Hmmm .... weren't there some people last quarter who swore that they had got the '2 brands' 10k but had only done award stays?

For the standard 'stay x nights, get 10k' they DO need to be paid. But the 2 brands one ....?

I can confirm that I have got 10K for two hotels (not brands) in Q1 after 1 paid and 1 award stay. Whether it is an exception or not - no idea. Also, I have some points posted on my non-qualif stay for food,etc.

Mine took 7 days and did not post. I called the priority club number and got the points posted immediately (after a 20 minute hold while CSR checked on my stay).
Worth the wait recieved 12,000 points for one night at a Candlewood Suites.
