They haven't replied to my missing post submission from several days ago. I didn't even get the automated reply. I guess I might have to resubmit.

I got around that much last year. Quit depositing (kept them for this year after making Spire). Have already deposited more than that this year.

Bot of a worry. I might hold off transferring some points until it is clearer what is going on here.

Me too after seeing this.

Transferred 1st Jan my e-rewards and they were qualifying, but since then haven't bothered to do any surveys

They told me they were "making a one-time adjustment," since e-Rewards points were no longer Elite Qualifying. I told them they might want to let e-Rewards know, as the T&C on their web site still state that they are.

I will still use e-Rewards for IHG points, but not as often.

Looks lke IHG are further tightening up "loopholes" to Spire elite status, eg the 10k bonus point ratess are now renamed hotel 10k bonus points rate and no longer post as 10k EQP's
(5k EQPs pe stay is still vaid)

I got an 8K adjustment to EQ points, enough to put me at platinum through the end of 2018. It was on the second complaint and I think it was handled by a US/UK customer service rep based on the name used.

I received points on 2/7, 2/21, and 3/7.
Points from 2/7 did count as EQ, points on 2/21 and 3/7 did not count as EQ. Terms and conditions still state that they should count as EQ. Submitted discrepancy on IHG's site. Waiting for a response.

so annoying that the T&C have not been updated. IGH should really allow EQ until that change

Question.

How would you prefer an employee to treat the following;

1. Spire earned through stays?

2. Spire earned through spend/card enrolment/surveys/not being loyal to brand?
