List of properties that have (or have not) recognised Spire. AND Provided Spire 'Specific' Benefit.

I suggest listing country, brand, property, how you were recognised (Club/not at all etc) and the month you stayed that way if anyone stays after that date we can have an update on whether things have changed.

Or if anyone can think of a better solution feel free to change it.

Confused...

Don't fully understand how IHG works, but I have 209,000 total points earned and 129,000 'elite qualifying points' out of 60,000 for Platinum Elite. Does that qualify me to be a-spired? (for whatever it's worth, by the sounds of it...)

And other question - how do I know when my membership year rolls over? It's like I have 3 dates: the date I joined the programme, the date I signed up for dining awards and then the date I signed up for the Ambassador thing...

Received congratulatory email for RA renewal

Received the following email from IHG Ambassador. Never received one in any of the previous years and I have been an RA since the status was created.

Anyone else receive this?

+1. I think that means you'll be one of the first accounts to be updated. Mine still says Platinum Royal Ambassador.

I'm looking at my account page and it says that I have 22K of 40K needed for Platinum Elite.

And then right below it, a graphic that still says I need 60K for Platinum.

I guess they're probably mid-update and all, but that's not terribly professional.

Looks like it. And it can be achieved with negative points.
A delightful system don't you think?

I am online now. I can see I am Spire Elite, by virtue of IHG spend and if they would sort out all the missing nights also by number of nights. I can also see I can select my 25000 points or the card for someone else. Can't see any more perks yet but internet in China is.......slow internet of china, so may not be an ihg issue

What a stupid name

I'm currently -20,000 from being a Platinum Elite. I have a stay in a few days that will make me a Spire Elite, so lets see how that confuses things

No free Ambassador status included with it then? I'm fairly loathe to pay for it when i give them $1,000+ a month on stays as it is.
