Just got my points posted for taking out the IHG Visa card (thanks FT!). Now will wait a few more days and see what hotels pop up as pointbreaks.

New IHG PointBreaks list
Does anyone know when the new PointBreaks list will be available? The current one allows bookings through Januray 31st, so I assume the new list will come out in February. I definitely want to stay on top of this to get some great deals. I'm so bummed I missed out on the IC Bora Bora for 5,000 points a night last time.

typically its been the monday or wednesday before the list expires..so i would wait for 1/27 or 1/29..i just cant remember which one..typically it is posted first as a preview in the ihg forums site ..they may make a new thread or just update it...

New list on Monday Jan 27 according to this blog: http://loyaltylobby.com/. He also gives a sneak peek at a few hotels that are supposed to be on the new list.

Kind of bothers me that bloggers have a first look at the list.....
At least they don't have more time to book the list than we do (yet). I'd be really bugged to see a 'look at me in the IC Phnom Penh' trip report after none of us were able to book it....

I find it very helpful to get a heads up. I know that the guy who runs Loyalty Lobby has an "in" with IHG, so he typically knows beforehand. But as long as we all have the same chance to book....

Someone says 27th january and even has a preview of few hotels around the world, including one in Johannesburg, Shanghai, Atens, GA and Phnom Phen etc. Not sure how he got the list. Hopefully IHG will release the preview tonight?
