Looks like "up to" is the key word, as none of these rates is anywhere near 50% off.

Yeah these rates are a joke. Most of them are 20-25% off which is pretty much Advanced Purchase rates.

I was hoping for a short weekend getaway to Tokyo but I'm not going to bother now with these rates.

These comes with 5000 yen voucher for a discount off of food (lunch or dinner), so it depends if you plan to eat at the hotel or not.

Was wondering whether I was going to use this promo for our overnighter-

- Y5000 dinner voucher to a restaurant where the cheapest entree is about Y9000.

I'm using my points 40K.
