I just had to stay here as it's right by my house and it's a brand new prototype. I stayed here on 9/6.
The exterior was nice and there is plenty of parking. Unfortunately, I was only there for one night so I didn't get much of a chance to take any photos of the property or look at any of the memorabilia throughout the hotel.
However, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly. The rooms are great! The carpet on the floor of the room is so thick it nearly scrapes against the door. The shower is humongous! When looking at it, I jokingly thought you could fit at least five people in it.
The room I booked was a simple 1 king bed leisure, though I was upgraded to an executive. Even looking online, I don't see much a difference in the descriptions, it seems I got the added benefit of a desk.
I was kind of excited in a dorky way about staying at this one since it's near my house (it's right next to a mall and there's a ton of restaurants nearby, several on the same street as the hotel - and this is not a long road!) so I got to see it being built and such.
All in all I'd recommend it. It's a bit far away from the typical Memphis things to do so unless you're renting a car and want to stay outside from the city (despite it being in Memphis it's really in a suburb) or are visiting family, the location might not be too convenient.
