Turkish Air or Egyptian Airlines ?
Hello Members and I thank you in advance for your learned advice
I am a Miles&Smiles Member currently sitting with 41,000 Miles
In the next 2 months I would like to use these Miles to travel from
Riyadh-Cairo return
Would you advise using Turkish Air (thru Istanbul) OR
Egypt Air (direct) as they are fellow Star Alliance Members ?
Also --If TK is the recommendation-How easy is it to obtain
a Reward Ticket (not Guaranteed) ?
Or if Egypt Air is recommended--also How easy is it to obtain an Award Ticket ?
Last question--In either case (recommended) How do I obtain my ticket ?
Thank you very much and Best Regards--This is a Wonderful Site !!!

There are various methods to search for award availability on Star Alliance. I am not sure which airlines you can search on TK's website, but otherwise you can use ANA's or AC's websites.
There is no guarantee there will be award availability on either TK or MS when you wish to travel, all you can do is check.
You would book your award ticket through TK Miles&Smiles.

TK is better then the other airline ill give you that. An award ticket with TK should be quite easy to obtain but get on it.

Direct flight time is below 3h. It would be crazy to connect in IST and more than double the flight time. Also, RUH-CAI is less than 100€ ow and 160€ rt, so it sounds like a waste of miles except you are flying on short notice.
