Will there be a separate thread and wiki for alliance benefit comparisons?

There will be when you start it. Like all of FT, this forum benefits from the contributions of all our members.

Before the forum goes "live", we have posted a few threads to get things started. These threads are not intended to be all that is covered, but rather to show the types of information this forum hopefully will provide.

Just doing some light housekeeping and giving some of our resource threads a bump... hoping some of our more knowledgable FTers might be able to help get the wikiposts updated and/or completed. Feel free to jump in and polish things up a bit!

Thanks!

Added associated credit cards for each airline program. Didn't list all business versions, but it's a start.

Since mostly newbies frequent this forum, can we airline names rather than airline code more often, especially the small ones?

I updated the partners for Alaska with the name, and reordered alphabetical by name instead of code

Changed qualification requirements for 2016 United status and updated non-alliance partners. Replaced bonus miles percentage with mileage multiplier.

Added airline partners to Virgin America.

Two quick comments:

- would it make sense to add that the spend requirements are only for US-based accounts (I realise/realize it's a review of US programs/programmes but there are plenty of non-US members who'll be interested)
- should we add invitational tiers (i.e. UA GS?)
