Hotel recommendations for Chennai?

I have to attend a wedding at Rina's ... any suggestions for a hotel in the vicinity? Looks like the top rated ones (on Tripadvisor) are a bit further away.

Thanks.

Thanks ^

In talking to some folks from Chennai, they suggested looking at Taj Gateway and Holiday Inn Express as well (in addition to the Aloft).

The Nearest would be Aloft (as Keyser has suggested) and the Gateway hotel. Both these are literally on opposite sides of the road, roughly at the same junction. There are a whole host of other options such as Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn express, Novotel, ibis etc...but they're all a little further out..

Depending on your budget, I recommend the following:

Park Hyatt
The Leela palace

Thanks! Great hotels ... but a tad too far from where I was visiting. I ended up at the Taj Gateway, highly recommended.
