Hi,

Do you think for the 4 Ipads that each of us is carrying 1 each, will the custom guys will make a note of it in their system,, like how will they know of the 4 ipads if we choose leave 2 ipads back home before returning back to US, there is no way for them to know if we will keep it or take it back.

Thx

And you just used a key word "home". Leaving ipads at home vs taking them back to the US with you. I suspect people of Indian origin visiting family are more likely to be scrutinized than regular tourists/business travelers.

If I brought an ipad to India, I wouldn't be likely to leave it there. I don't even know anyone there.

They can ask you to pay a deposit/customs duty, which you get refunded when you leave the country with all your ipad(s). They have no 'system'.
