Welcome to FT. Can you be more specific in terms of your likes and interests?

India has a very diverse, rich and varied history. It is also geographically very spread.

Some input on what you are looking for will help guide suggestions.

I'll through out a blind suggestion: Qutub Minar.

If you like your ancients a bit more 'rustic', Tughlaqabad Fort.

Of course, if you're in Mumbai...none of this matters. Need more info please.

You would laugh if someone said that they wanted to visit the US and threw out Gettysburg as a blind suggestion, wouldn't you? And then said that if they were on the west coast, this rustic stuff didn't matter.

Dude, you seriously need to stop being lazy and go do more research. There are tons of travel sites with good information about India.

i presume u will be landing in delhi.. must visit qutub minar, red fort and india gate.. tughlaqabad fort is cool too and so is humayun's tomb... do visit amritsar for wagah border, golden temple and jalianwala bagh... if u like hill stations then do visit himachal except shimla and certainly kashmir.. taj mahal is a usual suspect.. if u go to mumbai the leopold, marina drive and gateway of india are top most attractions.. whats ur specific interest? these are just my suggestions
