Hassle-free check-out for passengers at Sahar
Read thru Mumbai's TOI, that at BOM CSIA, new X-ray machines are installed behind the conveyor belts (after unloading from aircraft) so that baggages of arriving international passenger would be screened prior to passengers receiving their baggage at the regular pick-up belts. This way international arriving passenges would not have to line up for a seperate customs check. Only those who have goods to declare (red channel) would have to stay back for inspection.
Finally some good news for some arriving passengers that are pulled aside to be harassed or asked for bribes from the corrupt custom officers.
