Both were working when I was there in December.
Can you say where those are in reference to the first photo in the OP? Previous threads here and over on IndiaMike have only mentioned an ATM outside the secure area. Thanks!

Looking at the 2nd photo, in which you see what appears to be a British Airways sign on the right (the first is inside the baggage claim), there's a wall of currency exchange booths to your left. The ATMs are located at the far right and left edges of the wall.

Better to look at the 3rd photo where the luggage cart is in the middle of the photo because this is your view as you leave customs. The wall of booths is to your immediate right.

Those photos are both outside the secure area, so perhaps the ATMs to which you are referring are, indeed, the same as those described by others?

Thanks for your DEL trip report. It brings back fond memories of my '05 2 week long business trip. I stayed at the Upals Orchid hotel (very nice IMO). Ha the sea of signs with names cracked me up...It took me a good 5 minutes to find mine!! Our driver warned us not to let anyone help load bags in the car. Of course I did and offered the guy a $1 bill...he then had the nerve to ask me if I had Euro.

Many thanks for this. I'll be flying into DEL for the first time next week, so this is quite helpful.

By request from the OP, we've moved this thread to the India Forum. OP's point is that pics are now open in every forum and this thread would be of interest to those in that forum.

This is not true. It used to be the case, but the rules were relaxed half a decade ago. The official notification is here. Essentially, you can take photographs in a civilian airport terminal, or the civilian terminal area of an airport with a shared military facility. Photographs on the tarmac are generally discouraged. There are tons of photos of the interior of DEL, BOM, BLR, HYD etc on other forums.
