Jet Airways revised segment - impossible connection

Jet Airways revised segment - impossible connection
My wife's itinerary (same ticket, PNR) was originally:
9W117 16AUG LHRBOM HK 2120 1100
9W70 17AUG BOMBKK HK 1235 1440
This has been revised to:
9W117 16AUG LHRBOM HK 2120 1100
9W70 17AUG BOMBKK HK 0840 1440
Which as she's not in possession of a time machine, is not going to work out. Guessing she will need to ring the airline? Any suggestions / thoughts?

If BOM-BKK is a nonstop before and after the schedule change, then there must be a mistake somewhere.

I don't know about the flight times stated by OP, as they seem to be incorrect. But, currently, 9W operates 9W60: BOM 1235 - 1825 BKK.
This flight isn't available for booking in August.
IIRC, 9W was 3x daily on BOM-BKK-BOM sectors. But recently they have started codeshare with PG. That along with the off-peak season may be the reason for reduced frequency.
Contact 9W and modify to alternative flights with lower transit time.
