All of the "Old" Star carriers at LHR are due to have moved to T2 by the end of October 2014 - is there any indication of when AI will continue on its move around the airport and leave T4 to join them?

Doubtful that they will be super eager to move, the move page doesn't even list them yet: http://www.heathrowairport.com/fligh.../airline-moves

Why wouldn't they be suoer eager, or even just willing, to move to the shiny new terminal along side their fellow star alliance members?

Increased fees at the new terminal to make up for the shininess? Long term deal with a contract lounge in T4 that'd be useless to them if they moved? Could be any number of reasons.

Not sure about the first, but the second is an LCC and is not part of Star. Does not even show up when searching on kayak.

Not sure but they do show up on the air India booking site if that matters. So they can be booked under AI code share, not sure if they will earn miles on partners though.

I'm trying to book an award on an Alliance Air flight using UA miles, which explains why UA can't see the flight.

Have you checked the AI flight number on their website? Maybe UA can see the codeshare flight number and not the alliance flight number?

One reason I was eagerly awaiting AI's induction into Star to be able to use direct flights from the Gulf to Kerala airports, but it looks like most of these routes are now with IX.

AFAIK, AI does operate codeshare flights with Alliance Air (aka AirIndia Regional), but not with IX.

15 + 10 kgs for AI members of any status level for the cheapest economy class ticket

Any way to get the Amadeus PNR from AI PNR

Don't usually travel AI but had to book an AI flight in an emergency. Wondered if the experts here know if there is anyway to get the Amadeus 6 digit PNR for checkmytrip, My Flights etc from the 5 digit AI PNR. Thanks
