Have been holding onto American Express Kingfisher First card. Not sure if these offers will be available for moving to the new CC from the Kingfisher first card.

What does launched mean exactly?

Seeing it's Jet Airways, it could mean the first customer will get an actual card in their hand sometime in 2017.

Then again, it's American Express and not ICICI or HDFC, so it's likely going to be sooner, in spite of Jet's wishy-washy-ness.

If we meet someday, I'll give you some details on the ICICI goof up. Can't share on a public forum.

As for Amex, they needed the time to sort out KFA, however, they also were not going to launch till they were sure everything was done.

Any idea if they have a fee waiver for 9W Plats?

An AMEX Plat card + 20k Jet miles with no annual charge seems like a pretty sweet deal.

have already spoken to the guys from amex who called me.....waiting to hear about any fee waivers if possible

I have the amex plat reserve and I think that its one of the worst cards if one looks at the benefits (taj gold + accor gold)

I think this will end up being the best card for AmEx, especially travel lovers but with a fee on the higher side

just found out - amex jet card has a renewal fee of 10k with only 5k miles being credited. Guess its a useful card only for the first year unless they change the renewal benefits
