I have a querry with ref to Visa on Arrival process for Thailand:
Besides the 2 PP size photos, fees of THB1000, confirmed return tickets & travel insurance; is a confirmed hotel booking mandatory?
Also, it seems that the TG website doesn't yet accept AI FFP # on their booking systems. Anyone experienced this before?

Anyway I got a VOA, do not forget photographs, You can get a booking from booking.com and then cancel it, just show them confirmation and thats fine (if they ask).
There are 2 modes 1000 THB normal and 1200 THB for express. 1200 ones are usually half of 1000 ones.

Traveled BOM VNS HJR VNS DEL BOM. on Jet and AI. Both were good. AI needs to do more in training personnel to be more welcoming and " pleased to have you......". Was surprised to get a small dinner on Jet!

Much written in the media and here.....We all waited for AI induction into Star A.
Just saw a newspaper report that said 100 + AI pilots were flying without current licenses
Wonder what the public and Star A think of this !

Of course, the public and *A don't really care, as AI is hardly the carrier of choice for paying pax IMO.

I have an issue with 2 AI e-tickets that cannot be used. I tried calling AI e-commerce at the telephone number shown on the web site for contacts (011-24624074) as well as sending e-mails.
However there has been no reply after several days. The telephone has rung up to 28 times!.
Any suggestions as to getting into a 2-way conversation regarding these tickets?

Reservation at Doubletree Goa 05/11 - 10/11. Anyone want to take it?
Hey ! I have a reservation at Doubletree by Hilton Goa from 5th Nov(tomo) to 10th Nov. I can't make it there, and they want to charge me 8k for cancelling it. Does anyone want to use the reservation?

Have seenTV reports about a Spicejet aircraft hitting a buffalo due to a runway incursion. Did I hear it right that an engine was damaged ?
