Unhappy Indy, we hardly knew ye...

I'm one more Indy flyer sorry to see their demise. It was the most convenient and cheapest way to get from CT to DC to visit our daughter. (Much more convenient, and sometimes cheaper, than Southwest into BWI.)

We appreciated the clean, comfortable planes, helpful staff (on the ground and in the air), and even the Arizona iced green tea served on one flight on a hot summer day. (When the FA announced what he would be serving, I thought he said "icecream tea" )

Best of luck to all Indy staff -- it was a brave attempt, and we'll miss you.

As an employee of DH, I have watched this board since I discovered it about a year ago. I just want to thank all of the people who supported and encouraged us along the way. Thursday was a sad day for all, and I hope that in the future I have the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people and such a great company.

Flygirl2004 signing off. It has been a hell of a ride.

I started with ACJet in April 2001 in BOS and then that shut down and turned into FLYi in June 2004. Went to IAD and had a blast. Loved working with FLYi. Made some wonderful friendships. Management was ok. Could have been better. Customers treated our employees with great respect. Will miss them.
