Downtown Portland, OR additions
PDX – OR, Portland - MONTEGO BAY - Jamaican
A couple of blocks behind, and a bit south of, the Art Museum. Service can be a bit slow (although cheerful!), but the food is great.
PDX – OR, Portland - VOO DOO LOUNGE - Cajun(ish)
Just the other side of Burnside Ave. from the Embassy Suites. Voo Doo does a great Happy Hour with (smaller sizes of) interesting martini combos and small plates of great chow for incredibly low prices - especially with the lack of any sales tax!

wow Honk Kong Flower Lounge is fantastic-and usually packed!Wonder why they're doing Idine?
Thanks for the heads up javachick2004!
My pleasure. I've got another for your area---well it's not Pasadena, but it's worth the drive over to Larchmont.
LAX/BUR- CA, Los Angeles (Hancock Park), PRADO, Latin-inspired menu features crab cakes, sweet corn Jamaican tamales and mesquite-grilled New York steak topped with tomatoes and onions.

Nashville
BNA - Nashville - Sole Mio - Italian - unbelievably fabulous food, free parking near downtown
As the listing in iDine suggests, call to verify their hours; they sometimes close early if business is slow that night.
They're open continuously from lunch through dinner. A perfect way to get a "late" lunch ("normal" lunchtime Pacific Time ) before a late afternoon flight back to California*. (But would be fantasitc ANY time you catch them open.)
(*Not just me. The other couple people there between 2 and 3 pm Saturday all seemed to be on their way to a plane flight!)
The food was prepared with a level of care you usually find only in much more expensive restaurants.
Brought to you by the same people who bestowed the still trendy Koi in West Hollywood, Citizen Smith is a beautifully decorated and beautifully populated restaurant in Hollywood. I'm sure this restaurant won't last long in the IDine program, but for those who want to enjoy a new restaurant in Hollywood visit soon! Better yet, my partner and I had two entrees (a Citizen Smith hamburger is $14 the fried chicken is $21 and includes THREE breasts and a side), two salads, one jalapeno mac and cheese, and three cocktails all for $81 not including tax/tip. For those who use Open Table for reservations, Citizen Smith is listed under Hollywood.

Reason: Clarification
This is a family run Persian restaurant off of Wilshire (parking lot and street parking available) near La Cienega. It is such a great little restaurant with both inside and patio seating. I love the combination koobideh (chicken and beef) that comes on a bed of saffron rice with a side salad. Usually I take some home for a next day lunch. For those who are going to the Wilshire Theatre it would make a great pre-dinner restaurant. For those in the area, it's a great place for an inexpensive but very tasty meal. They do not serve alcohol. Dinner for two with a side of cucumber yogurt and two iced teas runs around $35.
For the steak lovers in the area, The Lodge on La Cienega's restaurant row at the intersection of Wilshire Blvd. (the former Temple restaurant) is a great new restaurant in the IDine program. Designed by Dodd Mitchell this restaurant is owned by the guy who brought us Dolce. While one of the more expensive restaurants in the program it is a beautiful place with a designer ski lodge theme. The restaurant is comfortable although I prefer the tables on the inside area vs. the tables in the area that used to be considered "outside" at the old Temple. The steaks are huge and definitely more bang for the buck then at Dakota at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. The martinis are huge too! This is another great new restaurant in the program. I'm hoping it stays in the program for a long time.
EWR-How about us Jersey folks!! There's a wonderful italian restaurant Sanducci's in River Edge NJ. Delicious home baked breads and good dishes. Any other NY or Nj recommendations out there?
OMA - Nebraska - Johnny's Cafe - Steak. Doesn't look like much from the road, but decided to go for it. EPIC Omaha strip steak, and the best onion rings I've ever had. Viva Nebraska!
